I thought I would do a June favourites post for you. I hope there isn't too many products. These are just some of the products I have been loving this month.
Eau So Fresh by Marc Jacobs
I love this fragrance, it's fresh and light. A great one for Summer!
Soap & Glory Pulp Friction
This is a great scrub for getting rid of any dead skin or fake tan, this scrub is more coarse than their Flake Away scrub. I feel this last longer than a tub of Flake away. The only thing I dislike about this product would have to be the fragrance, it kind of reminds me of a mens shower gel or something? Hmm..
I am loving this primer for Summer! I received this sample size in Glamour Magazines June issue. I absolutely fell in love with this the minute I tried this. I apply this on my T-Zone as this is where I tend to be oiliest. I have since repurchased the full size.
Benefit High Beam
I am loving this highlighter for mixing with my foundation. I have to admit since buying this I haven't used it a whole lot. But I love mixing a bit of this in with my foundation to give me a fresh dewy look. It also saves money instead of buying a lighter foundation. Mix this in with any foundation instead.
Illamasqua Medium Pencil in Vow
I bought this on my recent trip to Manchester. I have been on the hunt for a while for the perfect flesh toned eyeliner, as I feel white can be a little too harsh looking on me. I can safely say I have found it! This colour is amazing and instantly makes my eyes more open and bigger. This was reasonably priced too at £13/€16. These are also multi-use products, so they can be used on eyes & lips!
Natural Collection Pressed Powder in Warm
I am loving this powder this month. It's affordable and does a great job. I have switched from using my MAC MSF to using this. I used this over my T-Zone to set my makeup in place and it works great!
Maybelline Falsies Volum' Express mascara
I am back to using this mascara. I absolutely adore this, it gives me long thick lashes, which I love! This is also reasonably priced. I haven't found a mascara that I love as much as this one!
MUA Heaven & Earth Palette
I bought this while on my trip to Liverpool, this is a fantastic dupe for the infamous Naked Palette at a fraction of the cost. This baby was only £4!! I couldn't believe it. The colours are fantastic quality. You can read more on my review of it here.
Collection 2000 Lasting Perfection Concealer in Fair
I have also went back to using this concealer over my Revlon Colorstay stick concealer. I feel this is lighter and more suitable for Summertime. This is one of the best if not the best drugstore concealer I've tried.
Revlon Colorstay nail polishes
This month I have discovered a new love for these nail polishes. These are relatively new on the Irish market and they come in a huge selection of colours and are really long lasting. These are ideal if you like a gel looking finish to your nails or if you don't like applying topcoats.
Real Techniques Buffing brush
I love this brush for applying foundation. It's a really dense brush so it's great if you really want to buff your foundation into your skin. This brush is part of the Real Techniques Core Collection kit. This retails in Boots for around £24/€30. You can also purchase this kit here a lot cheaper :)
Sigma Tapered Kabuki brush
I also love this brush for applying foundation as it can really give you a precise application with it's dome top so it can really get into those hard to reach areas. Sigma brushes are available *here.
MAC 217 Blending brush
This is definitely the holy grail of blending brushes for me. It really blends out my eyeshadow beautifully. These brushes are quite pricy, but I've had mine for about 5 years and it just goes to show if you take good care of them they will last you years!
So there it is folks! My June favourites, I hope you enjoyed them and let me know if you would like to see more monthly favourites on my blog.
