Lust List #1

I have always been a lover of online shopping. I love getting great deals online. So here are a couple of items I have been lusting after for a few months now..

1. Longchamp black tote bag- I spotted this beauty while I was away in Italy, and kicking myself now for not buying it. I'm a sucker for beautiful bags!

2. Michael Kors rose gold watch- I am a massive lover of rose gold and have spotted this watch in magazines and on blogs. Will be saving this one for my birthday I think!

3. Topshop Morris Vintage boots- I fell in love with these while on a recent trip to Belfast. These would be a great piece for the coming A/W and will definitely be picking these up.

4. Alexander McQueen silk skull scarf- I am a lover of all skulls and this beauty is no exception! This is totally out of my price range, but a girl can dream, right?!

5. Marc Jacobs studded mouse flats- Every year Marc Jacobs bring out a new take on their mouse pumps. These studded ones are totally on trend and will have to hunt these down on my trip to New York later this year!

Has anything caught your eye? What have you been lusting after?

Nail of the Day- Miss Sporty Pop Fiction

Hey guys!

Sorry I'm only getting around to posting now, the last few days have been so hectic. I will hopefully have a couple of photos up from my holiday's in Italy as well as my trip to Belfast.

But on with the nails!

For my look today I used an Essie nail repairing basecoat. I then applied two coats of the Miss Sporty polish in Pop Fiction, and to finish off the look I applied one coat of Revlon's Colorstay topcoat. This polish was a dream to apply with it's fan shaped brush.
Miss Sporty is available in selected Boots stores

Shellac Nails | My experience

Morning guys!
I wanted to share with you my experience with Shellac Nails. Basically what Shellac nails are, are a gel base where the polish is then applied and set with a UV light. They last up to two weeks, which for me is a god send! I have really weak nails, that tend to split when I try to grow them long, so when I heard of this two week manicure I had to see it to believe it! I had my Shellac Manicure at SO BELLE where it was on offer for the month of August at €25 (€5 extra for French) which is pricy but if it will help my nails I'm all in! Their offers can be seen on their Facebook.

Have you tried Shellac Nails? How was your experience?

I'm IMPRESSed!

Afternoon lovelies!

I have been meaning to feature this product on my blog for quite some time. It is of course Impress Nails. These are relatively new on the market. These fake nails are hassle free as these nails are already pre-glued.
These nails are available in a huge variety of colours and designs, the design I used was 150 It Girl. They claim to last up to a week if applied correctly. These lasted quite well on my nails, but after about 3-4 days I noticed the nails beginning to lift from the nail bed, but there are plenty of spare nails if they happen to need replacing, which mine did. I also loved how they are quite shorter than your traditional false nails, so for false nails they look quite natural (ha!).

Overall I was quite happy with the product, they are quite pricy though ranging in price from €8-€10. So I would be reluctant to use these for everyday wear and tear, but would definitely be something I would save for special occasions.
Impress nails are available from selected Boots and Penneys stores
