Dior Addict Ultra Gloss #576 Sari Pink- Review + Swatch!

Hey beauties!

Many of you may have noticed that I'm a total pink girl! This lipgloss is no exception.

I picked this up while on holiday last month in Italy from Sephora. I don't own many Dior lipglosses, so I decided to treat myself to one while I was away.

I chose the colour Sari Pink, this is a gorgeous vibrant pink colour that is wearable for both day and night. I also love that the gloss isn't too sticky, the formulation reminded me of the MAC Cremesheen Glass lipglosses.

I find that this gloss also wears really well and really brightens up any makeup look, I find this can be a transitional colour for coming into Winter time if you aren't into the red lip colours, this would be a great alternative.

This is retailing at €28 in Debenhams, which is a lot for just a gloss, but if you're looking for a long-wearing lipgloss then this would be a great option.

This lipgloss is available anywhere where Dior is stocked.

Are you a lipgloss fan? What's your favourite?

Sleek eyeshadow haul- Review + Swatches!

Hey guys!

So I have only recently discovered Sleek products after hearing so much about them. So while I was in Belfast recently I decided to pick up a few palettes which had caught my eye.

I picked up the Au Natural palettes as well as the Storm palette.

I was actually quite disappointed with the Au Natural palette as you can see from the swatches. Some of the shades were a bit of a hit or miss for me, but thats just my personal opinion.

I was quite impressed by the Storm palette however, with its mix of matte and shimmery shades, this palette would be ideal for everyday.

The last palette I bought more recently was the Oh So Special palette, again this palette was a bit hit and miss for me. This again has a mix of shimmery and matte shades, I find with these palettes, the shimmery shades are much easier to work with, but again thats just my opinion.

Sleek isn't available in stores in Ireland, but can be found online from Sleeks website or from the Irish online website Beauty Emporium, which are currently offering free shipping!

Have you tried any of the Sleek palettes?

Illamasqua Brow Cake Thunder- Review & Swatch!

Happy Monday beauties!

So on a recent trip to Belfast I was excited to pay a visit to the Illamasqua counter, which unfortunately
isn't available here in Dublin anymore, but is available online from Debenhams.

I was matched with the colour Thunder which looked amazing when applied to my brows. It's handy as  there is only need for one product, no more messing with eyeshadows. This product would also make a great brown liner if used with their Sealing Gel, which makes the product waterproof.

Illamasqua Brow Cake retails on the Debenhams website for about €14, which for the quality of the product is amazing value!

Nail of the Day- Essie Bahama Mama

Evening guys!

So I've been recently been going wild with Essie as there is a new Essie stand in my local Boots. Bahama Mama immediately stood out to me. I've seen tonnes of bloggers/Youtubers raving about this colour thus urged me to check it out!

Bahama Mama is a beautiful berry-red colour making it perfect for Autumn/Fall season.

I applied OPI Nail Envy as a basecoat as well as topcoat, followed by two coats of Bahama Mama which is perfect.

What is your favourite nail polish?

Nail of the Day- OPI Berlin There Done That

Afternoon lovelies!

As it is getting into Autumn/Fall time I am really embracing the Autumn colours as of late, my nails are no exception! Berlin There Done That is part of Opi's Germany Collection, which is their latest. This colour immediately jumped out at me and I had to have it; unfortunately OPI is quite difficult to track down here in Ireland, not to mention expensive. I browsed eBay and found a seller selling a tonne of OPI polishes for €4! which is a total bargain, shipping was quite reasonable too. I was worried that they may not be authentic but to my surprise they were. I would definitely recommend this seller.

So firstly I applied OPI's Nail Envy as a basecoat. I then applied two coats of Berlin There Done That for full opacity, I then applied another coat of Nail Envy as my topcoat.

Other great dupes for this polish would be Essie's Chinchilly or Barry M Mushroom.

Have you embraced Fall colours yet?

Real Techniques Haul

Hey guys!

Today I wanted to show you a few brushes I picked up. I haven't done a proper big haul in quite a while as I find them a bit tedious.

Anyway, after waiting for months for one brush (sad, I know) I finally picked up the Real Techniques Expert Face brush. This brush is great for applying foundation with it's soft bristles. These bristles are tightly packed making it much easier to buff in your foundation. I bought this brush from Cloud10 for around €12. These are also now available from Boots. They're on offer at the moment buy one get one half off!

The next brush I also picked up from Cloud10, and it's the Lash-Brow groomer. This was a bit of an impulse buy. The brush on the end is great for brushing my eyebrows in place. This was around €8.

The next two brushes I got on offer in Boots last week, the first being a Kabuki brush. I don't own any kabuki brushes so when I saw it was on offer I thought "why not!?". This brush is great for on-the-go touch ups as it is really compact, not to mention its super soft! This was around €12, but I got student discount on top of the offer so a total bargain.

The last brush was also an impulse. As these brushes were on offer in Boots I was stuck for something to choose as I have pretty much all of them (obsessed! hah) so I picked up their Foundation brush. I got this for half price, so for about €6. I'm not too keen on the feeling of the bristles on this brush as they feel quite scratchy. Also the brush itself is quite small so would take a lifetime to apply my foundation!

Have you tried Real Techniques? What's your favourite brush?

NARS Super Orgasm

Afternoon lovelies!

As you may know I am a bit pink mad! And this product is no exception. I picked up this while on a recent trip to Belfast. I am really getting in to NARS products lately, the quality and the pigmentation of their products is amazing.

So I treated myself to this lipgloss which I have wanted for the longest time. Super Orgasm is a shimmery baby pink lipgloss. This definitely has a lot more shimmer than the Orgasm lipgloss, so if you aren't a fan of sparkle I would steer clear.

This also isn't too sticky which I quite like and the lasting power is great especially for a lipgloss.

NARS lipglosses range from about €25, which is quite a lot, but for the quality of the product and the lasting power I really don't mind.

NARS products are available in Brown Thomas in Dublin or can also be purchased from their website.

Are you a fan of lipgloss? What's your favourite lipgloss?

Nail of the Day: Essie Chinchilly

Evening guys,

I wanted to do another NOTD post for you as I actually quite enjoy these kind of posts. I recently went to the new opening of Boots in Blanchardstown and couldn't help notice an Essie stand calling out my name. I picked up the colour Chinchilly which I have wanted for the longest time. It's a mushroom brown colour so perfect for Autumn/Winter and for everyday wear and will go with virtually anything.

I started off by applying my Revlon Colorstay basecoat. I then applied two coats of Chinchilly followed by a Revlon Colorstay topcoat.

What's your go-to nail polish for Autumn/Winter?

Sleek Contour Kit- Review+Swatches!

Evening lovelies!

I wanted to feature a product which is relatively new (well to me anyway!). Contouring is something which I have only began to experiment with over the last couple of months, and I don't know why I never did before!
I had read a lot about the Sleek Face Contour Kit a lot and decided to pick it up from Superdrug while on a recent trip to Belfast. This handy compact contains everything you will need; a beautiful light matte brown for contouring (which is also a fantastic bronzer!) and a lovely champagne highlight. I picked this up for around £7.
L-R: Bronzer, Highlight
This is available in 3 shades- light, medium and dark. I have light and it is perfect for my pale skintone. It also blends beautifully on the skin and doesn't leave me looking muddy or anything. This is a handy little product as you have both a contour/brozer and highlight in one. I also love how it has quite a large mirror which is great for touch-ups throughout the day.

Sleek makeup is available online in Ireland from Cloud 10 Beauty or from the Sleek website.

Have you tried any Sleek products? What are your favourites?
